*Ross Zbar, MD, FACS - A Nationally Recognized Leader in Plastic Surgery**
Dr. Ross Zbar, MD, FACS, is a highly skilled plastic surgeon with over two decades of experience. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and earned his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Zbar is double board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Plastic Surgery, having trained at the University of Iowa and the University of Texas Southwestern, both top-ranked programs. He also completed a Cleft Surgery fellowship, spending a year teaching plastic surgery in developing countries, a mission he continues annually.
For 22 years, Dr. Zbar operated a successful solo in-network practice in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, focusing on cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He served as Chairman of Plastic Surgery at Mountainside Medical Center, leading both the Wound Care and Melanoma & Skin Cancer Centers.
Dr. Zbar is nationally recognized for his expertise, serving as a guest examiner for the American Board of Plastic Surgery, where he helps maintain the profession’s high standards. He has authored over 35 peer-reviewed manuscripts, contributing significantly to advancing the field.
For the past two years, Dr. Zbar has been establishing a plastic surgery service line at a prestigious medical facility in a dynamic region where the Southeast meets the Deep South, providing care to a heroic but vulnerable population. His current role reflects his commitment to excellence and service in plastic surgery.
